Firstly, this will make your competition more attractive to users as no one likes a fuzzy image on a blank background. Secondly, don’t have text over the image as you want the audience to be able to see what the prize is.
Write good copy
You’ve got your audience’s attention with the prize and the image. Now, you get the chance to really sell your brand and competition to them.
The first thing to do is come up with a good title for your competition. Something that is catchy and clearly states what the prize is so your audience knows what they would win if they enter. And, while it may seem obvious having the phrase “win” at the start is guaranteed to pique their interest.
Also, stick within the word count. You have 250 words to use which sounds like a lot but it really isn’t so choose your words carefully. By making your competition sound exciting, you increase the number of users entering. Also, using keywords will drive up the SEO of your competition.
